Co-Design
Designing the Workshop
We collaborated with NGOs like ADRS and local organizations.
Volunteered at Jill’s House to build rapport and gather insights.
Conducting the Workshop
Persona Creation: Participants created characters to express their backgrounds and technology use.
Emotional Reaction Exercise: Used stickers to express feelings towards various products.
Outcomes from the Workshop
Our insights were shaped by our volunteer activities. Participating in shared activities with others helped our participants feel a sense of relief and purpose. The evening group activity was particularly impactful, highlighting the crucial role of social interactions in enhancing emotional well-being.
“I can make mistakes here without being embarrased because everyone makes mistakes here”
After our meeting with Dayna , we realized that
The social needs of people living dementia are often neglected.
During volunteering and co-design workshop, we notice that activities with other people with dementia can make them feel relieved and gave them a sense of purpose.
